US spot crypto ETF inflows drop 80% to $65M on Monday

A single-day cooldown follows the strongest week for Bitcoin ETF inflows since October 2025, raising questions about whether institutional appetite is pausing or just catching its breath.

After a week that saw Bitcoin ETFs alone vacuum up $2.4 billion in net inflows, the combined haul across all US spot crypto ETFs shrank to just $64.8 million on Monday. That’s roughly an 80% decline from the previous Friday’s totals, spanning funds tied to Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP.
The $64.8 million in combined inflows on Monday was split across four asset categories, each contributing positive flows. Bitcoin products pulled in somewhere between $31 million and $135 million depending on the reporting source, with Farside Investors and The Block each capturing slightly different snapshots of the day’s activity.
Ether ETFs drew $87 million. Solana products attracted $86.7 million. XRP funds added $21 million.

For the week ending September 25, Bitcoin ETFs had recorded $2.4 billion in net inflows. That was the strongest single-week performance since October 2025, and it pushed year-to-date flows for Bitcoin ETFs back into positive territory after a stretch of outflows earlier in the year.
Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs now sit at approximately $57.6 billion, with total net assets across the category hovering around $108 billion.

Ether and Solana products each attracted more capital than most individual Bitcoin fund filings on the day. The introduction of dedicated spot products for Solana and XRP has opened new doors for institutional allocators who want crypto exposure but prefer the regulatory packaging of an ETF. On a day when total flows dropped 80%, Solana ETFs still pulled in nearly $87 million.
BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC continue to capture the lion’s share of Bitcoin ETF flows during positive stretches. When institutional allocators rotate into crypto ETFs, they tend to cluster around the largest, most liquid products.
Monday’s 80% decline is best understood as mean reversion after an unusually strong week. The $2.4 billion weekly figure for Bitcoin ETFs was itself an outlier, roughly double the trailing four-week average.
For the broader crypto ETF market, the most telling metric over the next month will be whether the diversification trend holds. If Solana and XRP products continue attracting meaningful capital alongside Bitcoin and Ether, it suggests the institutional crypto thesis is expanding beyond a simple Bitcoin allocation.
With cumulative Bitcoin ETF inflows now past $57 billion and total net assets crossing $108 billion, the product category has clearly established itself as a permanent fixture in the US investment landscape.
