Ripple just entered a $35 billion deal with Brevan Howard, a fund manager centered around macro and digital assets. This opens the doors for Brevan Howard’s investment teams to use Ripple’s multi-asset brokerage platform for various activities. Operational Ease & Capital Efficiency Is Key Ripple Prime, the brokerage platform, enables a unified interface for corporate entities for a multitude of financial activities, including clearing, lending, multi-asset management and swapping between local fiat & digital assets. “Ripple has built a differentiated platform that we expect will provide our investment teams with increased operational ease and capital efficiency”, Brevan Howard’s Group Chief Operating Officer Alan McGroarty explained. “Our expanded relationship reflects a long-term commitment to shared success”, added Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime. Roughly a year since launch, Ripple Prime will now provide multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to Brevan Howard funds. https://twitter.com/Ripple/status/2107457958007480528 Brevan Howard’s ties to Ripple initiated in 2025, when the enterprise invested in a closed funding round for the San Francisco based tech giant. Ripple Labs collected $500 million in total, with an initial company valuation of $40 billion, later growing to $50 billion. Ripple’s Institutional Presence Is Blooming Ripple’s tech stack is one of the most widely-used in corporate fields. The $500 million funding round in November garnered attention from other funds, including Fortress Investment Group affiliates, Citadel Securities, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital & Marshall Wace, among others. https://twitter.com/SMQKEDQG/status/2107476251560587551 Ripple said cross-margin positions are supported, so clients can maintain a regular counter-party relationship with whether they participate in foreign exchange, derivatives, fixed yield or any other Ripple Prime-supported financial services. In October 2025, Ripple acquired Hidden Road for $1.5 billion to rebuild it into Ripple Prime.
