A tokenized version of NVIDIA stock living on Arbitrum One just added roughly $17.5 million to $18 million in market cap over the past 30 days. The token, called rNVDA, is issued by Reality Protocol, a subsidiary of crypto exchange Bitget, and each unit is backed 1:1 by actual NVIDIA shares held in custody.
As of mid-August 2026, rNVDA’s on-chain market cap sits at approximately $20.56 million, with each token trading near $225.05. That means the vast majority of the token’s current valuation materialized in just one month.
Reality Protocol mints rNVDA tokens on Arbitrum One, and for every token in circulation, a corresponding NVIDIA share is custodied by Alpaca Securities LLC, a broker-dealer registered with FINRA. The Network Firm provides continuous attestations to verify that the backing exists, functioning as a sort of on-chain proof-of-reserves for equities.

When NVIDIA pays dividends, rNVDA holders receive the equivalent in stablecoins distributed on-chain. If NVIDIA executes a stock split or other corporate action, the platform handles the adjustment automatically. The minting and redemption window runs 24 hours a day, five days a week.
Reality Protocol launched its tokenized equities platform between May and June 2026, and the catalog has already expanded to 69 different assets. The combined market cap of all tokenized equities on the platform reached between $137.6 million and $138 million on Arbitrum One as of early August 2026.
Among those 69 assets, rNVDA ranks in the top three by market cap, sharing that distinction with rMU (tokenized Micron shares) and rSNDK (tokenized SanDisk shares).
A tokenized NVIDIA share can be used as collateral in DeFi lending protocols, traded on decentralized exchanges, or held in self-custodial wallets alongside other crypto assets. Traditional equity trades in the US still operate on a T+1 settlement cycle, while settlement on Arbitrum One is effectively instant. The 24/5 minting window also means investors can react to news that breaks outside normal trading sessions.
The FINRA-registered custodian and continuous attestation model suggest Reality is building with regulatory scrutiny in mind, but the intersection of securities law and DeFi composability remains largely untested legal territory.
