Gemini is expanding its XRP offering in Singapore, according to a Monday announcement.

“Big news for the Ripple Army in Asia,” Winklevoss wrote on X on August 25, announcing the new functionality for Gemini users in Singapore.

Gemini already operates a broad crypto platform in Singapore. Its customers can fund accounts in Singapore dollars and trade and store more than 70 cryptocurrencies.

Warming up to XRP

The exchange has substantially expanded its support for XRP-related products, while Winklevoss himself has become increasingly visible in promoting the asset.

In July, for instance, Gemini added XRP as cross-collateral for derivatives trading. It allowed users to use XRP alongside assets including BTC, Ether, USDT and GUSD.

Gemini and Ripple launched an XRP edition of the Gemini Credit Card. The card offered users the ability to earn rewards in XRP, including up to 4% back on eligible purchases such as gas, EV charging and rideshare spending.
