The Chelsea attacker has racked up four goals and two assists across his first six appearances of the 2026/27 campaign, averaging a goal contribution per game in a way that feels less like a hot streak and more like a statement of intent.
The 24-year-old’s early-season production spans both the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, with his performances suggesting the version of Palmer that won Premier League Player of the Season is very much back in business.
Palmer’s most eye-catching performance came on September 9, 2026, when he entered Chelsea’s Carabao Cup match against Leeds United as a substitute and promptly took the game apart. He scored twice, including from the penalty spot, in a wild 6-3 victory.
