Vet, an XRP Ledger validator and also the director of community at the XRP Ledger Foundation, highlights five key XRPL developments in a recent tweet.

These developments, which Vet refers to as being part of “XRP floor building,” are outlined as a quantum readiness roadmap, a native onchain lending protocol, AI hardening the XRP Ledger by the Red Team, Formal Verification bringing military-grade security, and AMM v2.

In April, Ripple introduced a multi-phase roadmap that aims to prepare the XRP Ledger (XRPL) for a post-quantum future. This targets XRPL to achieve full quantum readiness by 2028.

XRP Ledger developments

Back in March, Ripple announced it was standing up a dedicated AI-assisted red team to continuously hunt for vulnerabilities in the XRP Ledger. The team publicly disclosed 287 xrpld issues on GitHub (231 open, 49 closed), and these are mainly code-quality improvements and defense-in-depth enhancements, with none affecting system stability, availability, or the safety of funds.
